bicycles

the bicycle as art

At 2wheels2kids.wordpress.com, we’re all about giving bikes. This year, our favorite youngest daughter ( who bike commutes in Philly ) received a bike from her beau. This raised several thoughts,
one, bikes can be art, and two ( mostly from Dad ) ut-oh….. 🙂

delivered

At 2wheels2kids, our goal is to get bikes in the hands of kids. We try to do it at Christmas, and then near the end of the school year. Here are our first two deliveries:

If you’d like to help us get a start on the spring, buy a bike for a kid and give it to him or her and take a picture. Send me the picture and you are a member for life. Contact me and send a donation if you prefer, and once I have enough for a bike we will get it delivered. Thanks for reading, and thanks for contributing.

Kier took off on the bike riding it down the hall, but had to jump off because he didn’t understand hand brakes.
