2016 brings two bikes

Hello,

Merry Christmas and thanks to our friends who donated. Here’s two bikes we have lined up – one for a girl and one for a boy.
I can’t hardly wait !!! We picked out helmets too, electric yellow, my favorite color.

Today we delivered bike one… Mom was so glad, she’s going to wrap up the bicycle and helmet and place it under the tree…
I was as happy as she was.

Bike two is ready..

2015 is arriving…

Hello –

Thanks to those of you who contributed in 2014. Now 2015 is nearing. If you plan to contribute once again, please let me know. The preferred contribution is for you find a child, give them a bike and send a picture. We love it when you get the satisfaction yourself. If you care to send money, we’ll find one for you and share the pictures here.

It looks like a bike and helmet for a small child is running about $200 while for an older kid it will be in the $300 range.

2wheels2kids is not tax deductible, if you care to give, then give because you choose to. To prove your gift goes to kids, we can show all expenses and receipts at any time.

thanks – Bill Webb

the bicycle as art

At 2wheels2kids.wordpress.com, we’re all about giving bikes. This year, our favorite youngest daughter ( who bike commutes in Philly ) received a bike from her beau. This raised several thoughts,
one, bikes can be art, and two ( mostly from Dad ) ut-oh….. 🙂

I don't know if I would commute on this bike, or frame it...
